Interior designers are always asked this question.
If I can be said to have a "style" at all, it is
perhaps the common denominator in all of
my work, the underlying principles:
The project should work
A space must be effortlessly functional.
This is the cake. The rest is just icing.
The project should be meaningful
The space and furnishings should reflect the
aesthetics and ideals of the owners;
should serve a clear purpose and, wherever
possible, have inherent and lasting value.
The project should be artistic
It should use line, form, color, texture,
and light in highly satisfying ways. This is
where the hand of the designer is evident.
